Jiuzhaigou

Jiuzhaigou (literally Valley of Nine Villages) is a nature reserve and declared UNESCO World Heritage site in Sichuan, south western China. In autumn, the place is a fairyland of colourful foliage and bright aqua lakes, most intense being the Five Color Lake.

Huanglong Valley

Huanglong Valley is situated south of Jiuzhaigou. Here you can find the uniquely beautiful “Five Color Pool” (pools of calcite deposits).
