Machu Picchu (The Lost City of the Incas), Peru
Machu Picchu (The Lost City of the Incas) is an Inca fortress city situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in the Andes in the western South American country of Peru. The Inca Empire was the largest empire in pre-Columbian America. Built around 1460, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and also one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
