All Seasons Legian Bali Indonesia – Hotel Review and Photos
All Seasons Legian Bali, Indonesia
All Seasons Legian Bali is located at Jalan Padma Utara, just north of Kuta.
We booked a superior room at online via hotelclub.net a couple of months before . Our flight arrived at 9.35pm at Denpasar Airport so it was dark when we arrived.. We arrived at the hotel close to 11pm and was informed that they’ve upgraded our room because the superior rooms were full for the day. Check in was quick. Here’s the lobby of All Seasons Legian.
This is the view from our room, right smack in the center of the property, overlooking the swimming pool. Okay, actually overlooking the cabanas , daybeds and palm trees.
From the hotel’s website:
“All Seasons Legian Bali is seconds from the surf, shopping and restaurants of Legian and Kuta, two of Bali’s most celebrated resort districts. Funky contemporary design, friendly service and affordability are all combined at All Seasons for an outstanding Bali experience.”
When we first arrived our first impression was, “This is a very contemporary looking hotel”.
It doesn’t have a “Balinese resort” feel but there are small touches that will remind you that you’re in Bali, like these statues near the pool.
All Seasons Legian Bali Hotel Room
Our room was very spacious. Here’s a view from the entrance. On the left is the mini bar area, a work desk, daybed with two cushions and table. On the right is the TV, another desk, and queen bed. The wooden louvered door leads to the balcony with pool view. What is that switch on the orange wall for?
It is for the bathroom, which you’ll see in more detail in the section below.
The orange daybed with orange and green cushions. Luggage bench and table beside it.
Here’s a closer look at the work desk with iPod dock/clock. Free Wifi is not included in our room rate but we are able to get a 1 hour access chit from the lobby.
We got these cute colorful lollipops.
View of the spacious hotel bedroom. We did our own version of the barong dance in the middle of the room.
Another view of the bed. The room is clean. Room took quite some time to cool down.
You can control the room temperature here. We been in enough hotel rooms to not take individual temperature control for granted. ^_^”
Instead of the usual bedroom slippers, we got flip flops which came in their own cute bags which says “All Seasons is all you need”. We’ve reused the bag to put our shoes on other trips. Thanks All Seasons. ^-^
Room service, what shall I order for dinner? Sample of the prices of items on the menu, in Indonesian Rupiah, not inclusive of 21% government tax & service charge:

Club house sandwich Rp37,500
Fish & chips Rp30,500
Cesar salad Rp33,000
Mie goreng Rp39,000
Water in glass bottles provided.
Kettle with coffee and tea provided. The kettle is clean (I’m looking at you Golden Tulip Lisse).
Modern artwork in the room depicting a scene of Balinese women balancing fruits on their heads.
All Seasons Legian Bali Hotel Bathroom
Here’s a look at the bathroom. It’s clean and bright. Funky mosaic tile wall at the bathtub area. Towels, face towels provided.
There was no hairdryer in the bathroom but it was promptly brought to us when we requested for it. Soap, shower cap, sanitary bag, soap dispenser. Note says do not flush sanitary napkin into the toilet bowl.
We didn’t try the breakfast because we left early each morning for our guided tour. Sign says “Wednesday night. Barbeque buffet dinner with live music. Come an join at colors cafe.”
Conclusion
It’s a clean hotel with contemporary furnishing. Our upgraded room is spacious. There are a couple of convenience stores (7-11, CircleK), money changer, markets, shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the property and the beach is a couple of minutes walk away.
While All Seasons Legian Bali lacks a rustic Balinese charm, it makes up with efficient service. We stayed there for two nights and with full days of touring on both the days, we did nothing much than to collapse in bed each night so this hotel suited our needs fine. If you’re the type who wants the right ambiance to match your holiday destination, this won’t be your best bet but if you’re not looking for something fancy, All Seasons Legian is a great option to consider. Should we visit Bali again, we would probably try a more Balinese style resort, but for its location, cleanliness and price, we certainly wouldn’t mind staying here again.
