Amsterdam’s oldest parish church. The Great Organ (Vater-Müller Organ) built by the German Christian Vater in 1724 and later perfected by Casper Müller is regarded as one of the finest baroque organs in Europe.

Anne Frank Huis (Anne Frank House)

Museum dedicated to Anne Frank, a Jewish girl who was posthumously famous following the publication of her diary (Diary of Anne Frank) which gives her account hiding during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II.

The Begijnhof is one of the oldest inner courts in Amsterdam. A group of historic buildings, mostly private dwellings, centre on it.

Amstel and Magere Brug

Amstel
The Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) is a white-painted wooden double-leaf bascule bridge over the river Amstel connecting the banks of the river at Kerkstraat street, between the Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht canals. It is one of Amsterdam’s best known bridges among its 1400 or so bridges.

The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam possesses a a large collection of paintings from the Golden Age of Dutch art. The painting collections include works of Rembrandt, Johannes Vermeer and Jan Steen.
