Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland

Giant’s Causeway at the Northeast coast of Northern Ireland is an area of 37,000 interlocking, mostly hexagonal basalt columns. This geological wonder, one of Ireland’s top tourist attractions, is the result of an ancient volcanic eruption.
